Oklahoma & surrounding areas are beginning to feel earthquakes. Earthquakes are not new to Oklahoma, we just don't usually feel them. In the small chaos that ensued yesterday, I wanted to take a minute to get people rethinking natural disasters. Yes, Mother Nature can be scary, I no doubt feel that. I do feel Earth does things for a reason! What usually happens after natural disasters? People come together. We feel a connection to the region that was touched by the "disaster". This is a spiritual connection that is occurring. Humans grow spiritually the most when there is a disaster, when there is chaos. Most of the human population do not take the time to awaken their spirit. We live our hum drum lives, hardly connecting to ourselves or our family. This is why Earth brings us these disasters, to remind us of the most precious part of our life. People
2012 is not about the Earth destroying itself. It is about waking up our spirit. The more you awaken on your own, the less the Earth will feel she needs to nudge us. Earth is like our spiritual parent, trying to remind us why we are here...for our own spiritual upliftment. I believe we need to embrace the earthquakes for what they are...a shaking up of our spirit. We don't need to judge these earthquakes, like we judge everything else in our life. We are here to break free of the "old" paradigms, those that keep us from viewing life as Oneness. This is why we are here, for our own upliftment & that of the Earth's. I suggest the next time we feel an earthquake, get somewhere safe, & quiet your mind. Allow the shaking to bring the peace in your inner soul. Allow the shaking to remind you of what is important. It is definitely not the "stuff" in your house, nor your house. It is the people in your house. The people in your neighborhood. The people in your city. Reconnect with these people on your own. Let Earth know we are listening & we can do this. Our spiritual awakening will happen, so let's embrace it. Remember the only difference between ours & yours is a Y (why).
